Gift box lovely but didn’t fit a bottle of standard champagne and when I raised this I received a passive aggressive message about I did not read the information. I presumed foolishly that it would take a normal bottle!
I am sorry about your view as we do give the size of the box in the listing and most champagne bottles will fit in the standard sized box (we sell Moët et Chandon and Louis Roederer for example). For wider bottles we offer oversized boxes. We also offered you a new lid for the box you bought so that it could be used for another occasion.
