Design 1 - The text is engraved across three lines, all text is engraved in capital letters. On the first line, please choose your titles: Mr & Mrs, Mr & Mr or Mrs & Mrs. On the second line, please write the surname you would like. There are 4 boards you can choose from; circle paddle board, round circular board, olive wood board or long paddle board.

The circular paddle boards with handle are made from natural acacia wood, the chopping board is designed for the eco-conscious consumer. Perfect way to display your platter on our personalised wooden paddle cheeseboard. *Natural variation in wood making each board unique!*

The premium round circular boards are made of beech wood.

The rectangular board is carved from olive wood, the chopping board displays attractive wood graining and boasts natural antibacterial properties. The wood for these boards comes from old olive trees at the end of their productive lives.*This item is handcrafted so please expect slight variations to the finish, size and shape*

The paddle board is made from solid oak wood treated with food safe oil. After use, wipe down with a damp cloth (not suitable for putting in a dishwasher) and from time to time wipe with olive or sunflower oil.

Paddle board - W42 x H32 x D2cm

Olive board -(which will vary), W35 x H25, D1.5cm.

Caring for your chopping board

“Is this wooden board dishwasher safe?” The simple answer is “No!”.

No wooden products should be subjected to the harsh environment found in a dishwasher, with its caustic solution and intense heat. “How do I clean my board?” Quite simply you should only rinse your board, and you can use a little washing up liquid.
Never leave a board to soak in the sink. “Why?” If you look closely you will see the board is made up of strips of wood called staves. These staves are joined together with glue under immense pressure. Looked after well your board should give many years’ good service. Being a natural plant based product if left in the sink to soak, it will absorb water, the wood will swell up and expand. When the wood dries it will then contract, and eventually the board will split on the ends where the staves meet.

So the best way is to just rinse it and stand it up to dry naturally with the staves running horizontally.

If you have one of our beechwood boards, you may wish to give it a light wipe over from time to time with a little vegetable oil (not olive oil).

Chopping onions and garlic will likely leave an unwanted odour. The simplest way to remove this is to give the board a wipe over with lemon juice. It works on your hands, too.
